Introducing FREDMAN & SON PHOTOGRAPHY

Manfred made the move to Balmain some 30 years ago and has been living there as a proud local ever since.

So, the name simply put… Man Fred = Fred Man.

A family man, that loves great coffee and food, music, his beloved Sydney Swans and last but not least, photography!

The passion he has for capturing that special moment stems back to the early 80’s, when he was living in Germany and was fuelled by an aspiring photographer friend that was profoundly involved in (back then of course roll film) black & white photography and the development of his photos in his dark room.

This together with falling in love with Black & White Photography and especially Ansel Adams, has been a part of his life and enthusiasm for photography ever since.

Recently reinvigorated by his brilliant and creative twins who mix music, DJ, photography, design and textile fashion, Manfred wants to explore and discover more about ourselves, the world we live in and the people that make it.
