Manfred, known affectionately as FredMan, is driven by an unrelenting passion for photography, seeing it as a powerful medium to immortalise fleeting moments.
His love for the art is deeply rooted in the play of light and shadow, with monochrome photography holding a special place in his creative vision.
The inspiration.
Inspired by the profound words of Ansel Adams, “You don’t take a photograph, you make it,” and Karl Lagerfeld’s reflection, “What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.”
FredMan approaches each shot with a blend of emotion and meticulous technique. His dedication shines through every aspect of his craft, from mastering contrast and composition to exploring the intricacies of aperture, depth of field, and shutter speed.
